god I love this style of dresses :faint: and now I learned that it's called ''flapper'' :meow:
I drew Alicia twice because I saw a photo that I just had to try and reproduce a bit :[link]
not exactly like the photo but good enough :aww:
Alicia is :icondesert-poppy:'s OC
hope you like it :meow:
I had a lot of fun with this drawing :)

:iconloveloveplz: :squee: ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh! This is so wonderfulllll!! Both poses are adorable, it's hard for me to say which one I like better! :D The foreshortening is great on the first one, and I love the angle of the second one, I think you did a much better job than the reference in the link. You also incorporate the beads that I had drawn in my original huh? :D I just realized maybe Alicia was always a flapper from the start. She has the short hair that was common back then, and has those beads! Lolz! :D

Also thanks for not forgetting her white spots! Some species of deer have spots into their adulthood. I also like the way you drew her tail. The next time I draw her I might try your style, if that's ok! :) One last thing, it's really so cute how you drew her in shoes, kinda looks like her hooves!

I'm glad you like it :tighthug: indeed she does have that sort of flapper feeling to her :)
I was about to forget about them (I was used to deer that don't keep their spots when they become adults)but she looks great with spots :) My mom came up with the idea of giving her shoes  and you can draw in my style, I don't mind :meow:

I dooooo! :la: :iconlaplz: :la: Ha ha yeah! She doesn't really have a back story, so maybe she could be a flapper! :D When I drew her, I thought, ok, I'm gonna draw a deertaur running from a fire. And that's what I did. Therefore, I know nothing else of her! XD

Yeah, most deer loose their spots when they grow up, but somewhere on DA here I saw that someone had taken a picture of an adult deer with spots, so I asked about it. They said some deer do have spots. I thought that they made Alicia seem less plain and gave her more spunk. :) And thanks, I'm glad you like them too! ^^ Ha ha, that's awesome, way to go mom! :D They look cute on her. :) Hey, thanks, your style is so distinct, I love it! I wish I could draw as freely and simply as you do. It takes me a while to get the lines just right, but I can tell it seems easy for you. I guess I need to practice more, lol! XD

It's hard to find a story to fit your character... trust me, I know XD. I'm still juggling with some ideas lately for a story, and it's finally starting to make a bit of sense....
She does look better with spots :)I added some spots to my female centaur I drew in one of my last posts[link] :) but at first I had no intention of doing so... XD funny how things change with ought your will :) moms are the best :la: you wouldn't believe how many times I was annoyed that I didn't have my own style and so on.... at first I drew in a Disney style, then anime/manga style, and after receiving many critiques that I'm not original in my style I combined the 2 styles I drew up until then and this came out :meow: you have to practice a lot when you wish to improve. I've been drawing since I was 3 I think :P and never stopped doing so. And I've also started animating for almost 3 years I believe....(good thing I sometimes have time off school to do an animation from start to finish :meow: )Keep practicing and you'll start seeing a difference in no time :)
